GEOBEK RECORDS INTRODUCES A NEW URBAN MUSIC SENSATION, SAKO

Born and raised in the East Rand of Johannesburg, South Africa – where he made his first beat and sung his first note, African music sensation, Sako, has never lost sight of his dream. Taking his career to the next level, Geobek Records is pleased to introduce its first South African sensational singer, Sako.

Sako (real name Ntsako T. J. Manentsa) has been building his music career over the past few years as a singer, songwriter and producer. The development of his musical influence stems from the artists he grew up listening to and he drew inspirations from the likes of Usher, Chris Brown and Loyiso Bala.

“I’m excited about my new journey with Geobek Records, I’m looking forward to growing my talent and starting this journey that’s going to be fruitful for both myself and the record label. Let’s create some magic,” he says.

Geobek Records is a Pan-African driven independent recording label that was founded by Mr. George Beke, a passionate creative that has brought African artists together in music collaborations that unites the continent. In 2015, Geobek Records was established to develop musical talents across Africa, this introduced the rap star, Laylizzy and award-winning producer, Ellputo from Mozambique to the rest of Africa.

The A&R specialist and label manager, George Beke says that he believes in Sako’s talent and his vision is to develop this talent to its full potential of a true African superstar with timeless music and great storytelling visuals. He further said “I have watched the sun rise from the east and I believe that Sako will rise from the East Side of South Africa to the rest of Africa and to the world”.

The rising star will be dropping his debut single, “Dark Skin Girl” on the 7th of February 2020. Be on the lookout for it on all digital music platforms.
