#CastleBraaiSeason is set to sizzle its final episode this weekend with an epic finale as a fierce battle of the queens erupts between Mpho Letsholonyane, Motshidisi Mohono and Tshiamo Modisane.
Brought to you by Mzansi’s most beloved beer, Castle Lager, episode 4 of the digital series brings the most fabulous braai masters the show has had all season long. They will go tong-to-tong around the fire this coming Saturday, 28 November to determine who will reign supreme as the best braai master of them all. And in this episode, all three ladies serve up very different dishes for their own unique vibes.
Renowned sports broadcaster, Mpho Letsholonyane takes us into her home for this final episode as she serves up a beautifully braai’ed chuck steak, wors, sweet corn and salad combo for a cosy, at-home with friends and family vibe. The TV and radio personality says she wanted to accommodate everyone in her family with her dish which can be easily paired with pap and you’re good to go. Letsholonyane is no stranger to hosting cosy braai sessions at her home though, she’s actually quite a seasoned pro. “We braai quite regularly, even if it’s just us as a family. But every once in a while, we’ll have [family] over and chill at the house,” she said.
Meanwhile, award-winning sports broadcaster, Motshidisi Mohono takes us on a fiery whirlwind that starts off a little shaky as this queen of the sporting industry has a little trouble getting her fire going. But she powers through and finally gets the flames going to whip up a delicious serving of lamb chops and wors accompanied by a green salad, potato salad, and a bean salad, the trifecta of a good braai meal. Mohono said she was very proud of herself as this was her first ever solo braai. “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish,” she said, and finish good she sure did. Watch as she hosts us pool-side, serving you a nice summer vibe just in time for the festive season.
And then, style star, model, entrepreneur and all-round game-changer, Tshiamo Modisane shows off her braai skills in the sunny suburbs of Johannesburg, giving you urban lifestyle vibes with a cosy braai session on her balcony overlooking a leafy estate. Her meal of choice is a spicy pork and lemon & herb chicken kebabs dish with wors, lentil salad and garlic bread to seal the deal. All of this with a Castle in hand making it look all too easy.
Castle Lager encourages viewers to share images and videos of themselves enjoying their braai with a Castle, as well as tips and tricks that make their braai experiences amazing using the hashtag #CastleBraaiSeason. Plus, remember to vote for your favourite personality at the end of the episode as a few lucky participating fans will stand a chance of winning 1 of 100 Castle Lager Weber braais.
