Bye Bye Fear, Hello Freedom To Succeed

Being alone in an empty house is the basis for many horror films for a reason – it’s scary. Fear is often irrational; add staying home alone and housebreaking as the number one crime in the country – depression and anxiety can set in. Jessica Nkosi overcame her fear of being home alone in the latest Let Go, Let’s Go episode.

Watch the South African actress and TV presenter spend a night alone in a creepy old mansion in Northcliff, Johannesburg. To get her through the night, she had Momentum Insure products at her disposal to help her face her fears with confidence. This included the Momentum Safety Alert – a mobile panic button that is available on the Momentum App, which provides you with unlimited assistance from over 1800-armed response units nationally when you find yourself in a potentially dangerous situation or just feel unsafe.

The Momentum Insure Let Go, Let’s Go web series demonstrates how safety is a science. By taking the step towards conquering her fears, she lets go of her worries and enjoys time out from the hustle and bustle of the production team. Clinical psychologist, Bradley R, Daniels guided her through her fear into feeling more confident and safer alone at home.

The web series is part of the current Science of Safety campaign that seeks to make clients and their possessions not only be safe, but feel safe and confident on their journey to success. “In South Africa, more than 70% of South Africans feel unsafe most of the time. Momentum Insure has solutions that help you feel safe – wherever you are,” says Shweshwe Tlhapane, Chief Marketing Officer at Momentum Insure.
