Top Class Festival Adds a Market to Your ‘Groove-guide’ This Festive

This year’s festive season theme includes spending weekends outside in the sun with some good company and great vibes. After a year of being cooped up indoors, Markets are the answer!

Markets should be on everybody’s summer bucket list this December, as they are the go-to-out-in-the-sun activity and offer a diverse variety for everyone.

On your long ‘groove guide be sure to add Top Class Festival as it brings its first ‘One-Stop-Event-Shop’ which will have something for everyone. From all types of beverage tasting experiences, wholesome and cultural food, diverse music, and even horse-riding for adults and pony riding for the kids. It’s definitely a great family-orientated space.

Luxuriously located at Duo Serenity stables in Kyalami, this market brings a fine day of entertainment from high-tea and horse riding to swimming, sports, and braais, there’s something for everyone. There will be a handful of local stalls for food, accessories, and clothing. Different alcohol tasting stations, and different music from international to Amapiano. Mums could engage in some wine-tasting and vendor eye-shopping, dads on to some sports and beer, while the kids are making all the noise at the pool or pony-riding stable. The whole family is welcome. The horse riding adventure also brings the young and talented Jessica Beeslaar who will be the special equestrian for the day. Jessica qualified for the South African National Equestrian (SANESA) Championships in 2019.

“I’ve done markets for a lot of years now and I often see people getting bored after two hours of attending because they are on to find the next fun spot. Something is missing! We want to merge all elements of entertainment together and create a whole day filled with fun from 11 am- 8 pm where nobody feels bored or left out from families and friends to lovers and colleagues, it’s an exciting space.”, says Bookie Tshieila Top Class Festival Founder.

When visiting markets, it’s always a great idea to bring extra cash along to support local businesses and small start-ups, as the entrance fee is as low as R10 and free for kids and pensioners. Don’t forget to adhere to the lockdown restrictions.
