In an exciting announcement, the Woman of Stature Awards South Africa is thrilled to reveal that the legendary Lloyd Cele will be gracing the stage at the landmark 10th Annual Gala Dinner. Known for his captivating voice and soulful performances, Cele’s live appearance is set to ignite the evening, adding an unforgettable musical element to a night that celebrates over 108 exceptional women nominated for their remarkable achievements.
The esteemed Woman of Stature Awards South Africa announced the 2025 nominees for their landmark 10th Awards season recently. This year, a record-breaking 700+ nominations were received, with 108 exceptional women confirmed as nominees who are in the running for the Awards on Saturday, 12 April 2025.
Adding additional glamour to the 10th Annual Gala Dinner, the event will be hosted by two powerhouse women who have each made their mark in the media and broadcasting space. Nicole Capper, former Mrs. South Africa, TV presenter, and GM of Humanz Africa, who was the 2024 Woman in Media Award winner, will co-host alongside Noni Khumalo, celebrated radio and TV personality, and a 2024 nominee. Together, they will guide guests through an inspiring evening that honours leadership, resilience, and achievement.

To reflect its ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusivity, the Awards have introduced exciting new categories this year, and also brought back the Woman in Sport category. “This is particularly fitting as we celebrate the achievements of our female South African Olympians,” Du Plessis noted. This will spotlight outstanding contributions and successes in the sports industry, further expanding the platform’s recognition of excellence.
The Woman of Stature Awards South Africa is renowned for its credibility, with nominees undergoing a rigorous adjudication process audited by MGI RAS, ensuring transparency and integrity. Being nominated is an achievement of distinction, as it highlights each woman’s outstanding impact in her field. The adjudication judges are leaders in their respective fields. We are honoured to have the current Miss World South Africa 2024, Zoalize Jansen Van Rensburg and Mrs South Africa 2025 Erin Jane Miller who are among our distinguished adjudicators.
Additionally, nominees have the unique opportunity to raise funds for the Woman of Stature Foundation, which empowers female entrepreneurs through its Woman Rise Programme. The nominee who raises the most funds will be honoured with the prestigious Fundraiser of the Year Award.

While this special award celebrates public recognition, it does not influence the selection of category winners in any way.
