Starting out the year on a high note is Rapper and Songwriter, Tae Africa as he celebrates his 30th Birthday with a brand new-heartfelt Hip-Hop single titled “3rd Floor“. The release serves as a point of introspection as Tae Africa reflects on his journey of growth, maturity and religion. He further expresses his gratitude towards quality of life, his son, brotherhood and unity as it is within those aspects of his life that he continues to strive for the best version of himself each day.
“3rd Floor” was written in the form of a diary entry which further emphasises the connotations linked with rappers or rather Hip-Hop artists as some have found themselves behind bars and some have found themselves in the most ridiculous and stressful situations that may hold them back for years to come. It is accompanied by an easy watch visualiser to best detail the importance to life and self-love.
The single serves as the first of many as Tae Africa prepares for the release of his ‘Love Themed’ project “Finally Found The Words” which is set for release in late February 2025. The Project will be lead by a stellar love-letter titled “uMsasazi” which is set for release on the 31st of January 2025.
