Sihle Sibisi is founder of non-profit organization called Kwanele Foundation with the organization’s mandate to advocate and stand against Gender Based Violence and Femicide; the voluptuous TV host on two Moja Love DSTV shows – Fake Marriages and Fake Pastors, has made it to the Semi-Finalist stage of Mrs Curve’ South Africa 2025.
Going into the world of pageantry to her is an empowerment journey, starting from empowering women who are married, divorced and have children. She has dedicated herself to being a reminder of these women’s beauty and that within themselves there is still that girl that needs to come out and play. Sihle’s journey into the pageantry is not only based on empowering women with low self-esteem but it is much more personal than that, as she is also doing it in honor of her late daughter who was also once in the pageant world. “More than anything, I am doing it in honor of my late daughter who was a pageant queen. She passed away 1 year 2 months ago”, she said.
The pageantry journey for her has been nothing but a whole lot of learning as she is new in this world where she is personally doing it herself while she was just only used to being a pageant mom. Making it to the Mrs Curve’ SA Semi-Finalist 2025 has created a bigger platform that allows her to be able to amplify the voices of the voiceless in terms of educating people about Gender Based Violence and femicide. It is also a platform to educate people about brain aneurysms as her daughter sadly passed on from a raptured brain aneurysm and as a result, Sihle established the Khanyisile Paediatrics Foundation for brain aneurysms awareness. This position gives her a larger platform to propagate these messages holistically to a larger audience.

There’s a lot of women battling with body positivity and Sihle shared a motivation towards women who are struggling with their physical looks or rather self-esteem. “Look, none of us woke up and asked God to say give us this type of body, give us this type of nose, give us this type of hips or whatever. So my message is about making sure that you learn to love yourself within yourself, in your skin because you are valid, you are the way you are because God has a greater purpose for you”, Sihle said.
In her 3 months Semi-Finalist period she is planning to continue with her humanitarian work, working on ground regarding GBV and Femicide issues, amplifying the voice of the voiceless and educating people about brain aneurysms. Sihle is a strong proponent for freedom of speech and speaking out! Enjoying this freedom is one thing that makes her love being South African and living in South Africa. The way South Africans are full of love and love themselves is one thing that stands out for her. For her SA is home, it’s a land of milk and honey and a land of opportunities.
Are you wondering what happens when she wins? Well, Sihle shared that her win will not just be a win for herself but a win for her daughter in heaven. It would be a win for all curvaceous women, women who think they are not worth it and would make a permanent stamp that all women are worthy.
