Eduvos is set to return to the rAge Expo from 5 to 7 December 2025 at Fourways Mall, level 8, marking another consecutive year of championing South Africa’s youth gaming community. This year, Eduvos deepens its presence with three days of activities that demonstrate industry partnerships and a clear commitment to integrating esports, higher education, and student development. Visitors can find Eduvos at Stand 74.
Friday will see Eduvos open its main exhibition stand, offering students, parents and gaming enthusiasts the opportunity to explore future-focused academic pathways, including Eduvos’ growing portfolio of gaming-aligned qualifications. Saturday shifts the energy into high gear as the Eduvos Esports Tournament takes centre stage from 9 am to 2 pm, featuring Overwatch as the headline title. Eduvos’ own competitive student gamers, will return to the rAge arena, building on their strong performances in previous years and reinforcing the institution’s commitment to nurturing a thriving esports community. The weekend concludes on Sunday with a high schools tournament, played on The Finals from 9 am to 2 pm, which brings emerging youth talent into the spotlight and reflects Eduvos’ belief in creating pathways from school-level gaming to tertiary study.
This year’s activities are strengthened by contributions from leading technology partners. EveTech returns as the main prize sponsor for the tournaments, while Hisense supports with a display sponsorship, ensuring participants and spectators benefit from high-quality visuals and world-class equipment that elevate the competitive experience throughout the weekend.

Eduvos’s expanded involvement at rAge continues to be powered by its longstanding partnership with RGB Gaming. This collaboration has played a central role in scaling esports participation across Eduvos campuses and shaping the institution’s future-fit approach to learning.
“Our continued partnership with Eduvos shows the real impact that comes from bringing esports and education together. Year after year, Eduvos invests in the students, schools, and communities that will shape the future of the gaming industry through the tournaments we host. rAge is the perfect platform to showcase that commitment,” says Jaco Sauer, General Manager at RGB Gaming.
The 2025 edition of rAge marks yet another year in Eduvos’ growing legacy at the expo. Since first appearing at the event, Eduvos has consistently expanded its presence, influence and impact on the gaming and education ecosystem. From Vossie gamers competing in Apex Legends in 2024 to students showcasing innovative gaming products and creative businesses, Eduvos has built a reputation as a stable, experienced and forward-thinking contributor to South Africa’s esports landscape. This continuity speaks to the institution’s long-term investment in helping students channel their passion for gaming into both community engagement and meaningful career development.
Eduvos continues to be one of the few higher education institutions in South Africa actively integrating gaming and esports into academic study. Its Higher Certificate in Information Systems,Game Design & Development stream remains a hallmark of this approach, offering students an opportunity to build foundational knowledge in game creation, design principles and technical competencies. Through industry-aligned programmes, hands-on events such as rAge, and access to expert lecturers and creative tools, Eduvos helps students translate their love of gaming into valued, market-relevant skills that can unlock diverse opportunities in the digital and creative sectors.
At the heart of this year’s participation is a student community that has embraced both competitive gaming and the broader culture that surrounds it. From inter-campus leagues to national tournaments, Eduvos’ esports programmes have grown into vibrant hubs of connection, teamwork and personal development. The return of Vossie gamers to rAge 2025 will once again highlight the energy, discipline and talent cultivated within this community.
Looking ahead, Eduvos sees rAge as a key part of its innovation journey. As the gaming industry continues to evolve and expand, Eduvos remains committed to equipping students with the skills, exposure and confidence needed to excel in future-focused careers. The institution’s presence at rAge 2025 reinforces its role as a forward-thinking educator dedicated to bridging the worlds of gaming, technology and higher education.
