Bold, driven, creative and spontaneous; these are clear qualites of Andile Fumbatha. A Durban based model who aims to be labelled amongst the top models in the world.
Andile has told Blazon Magazine that in the next 3 years he sees himself being recognized as the best in South Africa; working with top South African designers and walking down the ramp at the South African fashion week. Being a fashion and commercial model is his dream, featuring on Vogue Magazine, GQ Magazine and getting opportunities to work with his favorite stylists and designers such as Orapeleng Modutle, David Tlale and Rich Mnisi. “One day my dream will become reality, believe in yourself and conquer the world with your dreams,” Andile says.
“ I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHOM STRENGTHENS ME”
What motivates you in your modelling career?
My mother motivates me in my modelling career. She always tell me that I can do anything I want in this life and use my talent that God has given me. She always encourages me to do better at all time. My mother is my daily inspiration!
What is the most challenging part you ever witnessed in modelling?
Being rejected several times because of my height has been the most difficult part in my modelling journey. It is very hard to seek opportunities, people shut you down which gives us less opportunities. Modelling agencies nowadays are very biased, they choose certain type of people.
