Yet To Settle In The DSTV Premier League

A very sloppy starts for the Natal Rich boys continuing were they left in the season 22/23 of the DSTV Premier League. Richards Bay FC played their first away match of the season against Supersport United that concluded with a 2 nil victory for Supersport United.

As the club seeks for change, they appointed Kaitano Tembo who has had difficulties in showing consistency and balance of the team. Playing a KZN derby against Golden Arrows in their second match of the season, brought back hope for Richards Bay FC. Boikanyo Kamane scored an equalizer for the team and Olwethu Ncube showed no mercy and scored his first goal of the season which was the winning goal  for Lamontville. Golden Arrows building a positive momentum, playing their first game against Moroka Swallows and now rewarding themselves with three points against the Natal Rich Boys.

As the season just kicked off, Coach Kaitano believes that “we are on the right track but at the same time we must start picking up points”. They will face Amazulu FC oin their next match, another KZN derby for the Natal Rich Boys.

The winning coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi , “Playing a derby is not easy away from home, we had to dig deeper but I’m very much happy with the effort and commitment from our players, even in our last game that we draw against Moroka Swallows it was the same, the effort was there but I think one thing that we must rectify is our finishing”.
