Uyamemeza okaNdaba 2 days left for uMkhosi womhlanga also known as the Reed dance where thousands of maidens gather together to embrace their culture. The Reed dance was introduced during the time of AmaZulu King Shaka Zulu.

uMkhosi womhlanga will take place at eNyokeni Royal palace, kwaNongoma- is a very important ceremony for the Zulu nation. This will be the biggest event post-Covid-19 and the first in the presence of King Misuzulu. The Reed dance is proudly supported by the Provincial government Republic of South Africa together with Isilo the Office of the king.

There has been a lot of speculation that the battle of the Zulu throne could be interrupted at the historic ceremony, despite King Misuzulu being rightfully recognized as the Zulu king, Prince Simakade declares that if King Misuzulu and his supporters continue with umkhosi womhlanga he will take that as a provocation. This raised a lot of questions and left people wondering what will happen on the day of the ceremony and raised concerns regarding their safety.
